St. George - The Heart of Wild Blueberries, Salmon, and Seafood!
The Granite Town Wild Blueberry Festival celebrates St. George - The Granite Town as the “Home of the Big Blueberry.”
St. George, NB is the place where the Magaguadavic River meets the Bay of Fundy. Over the years, where the old meets the new, the culture and livelihood has evolved from granite, to shipbuilding, to lumbering, to where now it is the heart of wild blueberries, salmon and seafood. The week-end, festival highlights the local: wild blueberries, culinary, tasting, foodie activities, music, art, antique car show, community walk/run for Zachary, customer appreciation and other fundraising for a “Cause”. There is something for everyone!
A Very Berry Thank-You to our 2012 sponsors!
